Management Techniques for Services Oriented Arquitectures

Description

The aim of the mt4SOA project is that of developing new approaches to the quantitative management of the processes involved in the management, development and operation of the software-oriented services.

This project is been sponsored by The University of Alcalá and Community of Madrid, CCG07-UAH-TIC-1588 with 16,000 Eur.

Objectives

The specific objectives of MT4SOA are the following:

• The methods for measuring functional software, especially the two most widespread international methodologies such as IFPUG and COSMIC.
• The method for estimating the effort and time systems development-oriented software services, with a special emphasis on adapting the mathematical methods of estimation based on statistical techniques.
• Analysis of the current methods for monitoring and metric operation projects and where appropriate, suggesting the adjustments that are necessary for use them in an optimum way in the development of systems-oriented services.
• Metrics and development techniques specific to the technology semantic extensions of service-oriented architectures, which use ontologies and software languages associated
