RENTIC Requirements for employment in New Information and Communication Technologies (Creative Commons): Luis Fernandez-Sanz

RENTIC REPORTS SERIES

RENTIC Reports series (Requisitos para el Empleo en Nuevas Tecnologias de la Informacion y las Comunicaciones: Requirements for employment in New Information and Communication Technologies) is an initiative of Luis Fernandez-Sanz who performs a detailed analysis of requirements for applicants stated in job ads for graduates in Computing as published in the main Spanish newspapers as well as on specialized websites (e.g., the one at Asociacion de Tecnicos de Informatica ATI , the Spanish Computing Professionals Association).
Although focused on positions oriented to computing graduates, analyzed offers include all type of technical, management and executive positions (except non qualified commercial roles) where bachelor-type (3 years) and master-level graduates (5 years) could be logical candidates as well as other types of graduates and educational profiles with the corresponding qualification.
Thus, RENTIC Reports series is a must and the main reference in Spain when detailed analysis of computing job offers and their associated requirements for candidates is needed, offering detailed and controlled information since 1998 (even with some data from 1993) based on thousands of qualified job offers in computing. RENTIC Reports series are published in a yearly pattern and are disseminated in Spanish in free-access mode with Creative Commons license through reports although summaries in English with the main data are available at RENTIC Reports summaries. However, this site allows direct query of Topten ranking (the 10 most cited requirements in each category por each year). I hope to update data each semester.

Since 2009 with our gratitude to the library of the polytechnic building of UAH.
