The First on-Line conference on Metadata and Semantics Research (MTSR'05) focuses on four metadata research areas:

  • Semantic Web (SW) applications to Information Systems.
  • Learning Objects (LO) concepts and applications.
  • Knowledge Management (KM) approaches to Information Systems
  • Cultural Heritage (CH) issues, schemas and applications.

After receiving numerous request for submission deadline extension, the organization has decided to arrange as new final deadline September, 15th 2005. Nonetheless, papers received during August will begin to be reviewed immediately to speed up the process.

Submissions of abstracts before the final deadline for full papers is strongly encouraged to help the organizers in planning the review process efficiently. Please submit your abstracts as soon as possible to msicilia@uah.es and mdl@eltrun.gr.

The dates for the publication of book post-proceedings will be announced later. Formatting instructions can be found in the Publication section.
