Biography

Daniel Rodríguez is currently a lecturer (associate professor) in the Computer Science Department at the University of Alcalá, Madrid, Spain. Daniel is also an on-line tutor at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) for the Compilers module. He is also regular visiting researcher at Oxford Brookes University, UK. In the past, he has been a lecturer at the University of Reading (2001-2006), as well as a seasonal lecturer until 2010 at the MSc in Network Centred Computing covering the Data Mining and Information Retrieval module. He was also a visiting researcher at CREST (July 2009-Dec 2012) while at King's College London (now at UCL).

He earned his degree in Computer Science at the University of the Basque Country (EHU) and PhD degree at the University of Reading, UK in 2003. His research interest include Software Engineering in general and the application of data mining (machine learning) techniques to Software Engineering problems in particular. He is also a member of IEEE, ACM and ATI associations.
